Can we use the HTML <template> tag (not Vue's one) in single file components?

Hi. I’d like to use the HTML tag inside of single file component files.

For example, describe templates like

<template>
  <div>
    <HTML-template> foo </HTML-template>
  </div>
</template>

then rendered as

<div>
  <template> foo </template>
</div>

Do we have any syntax for that?

Hi There,

Yes we have. But in fact it would be very easy if you pad things a little bit about what you exactly intend to do.

Anyways this goes a minimal solution.

<component is="template" v-for="i in 4">
{{ i }}
</component>

Hi There! Yes.

Hello @massat
yes, you can
here the example

<template>
  <p>{{ word }}</p>
</template>

<script>
export default {
  data: function () {
    return {
      word: "foo",
    };
  },
};
</script>

<style scoped>
p {
  font-size: 2em;
  text-align: center;
}
</style>

hope it works
